What the heck is Line Dancing anyway?
As you've probably figured out, Line dancing is danced in lines. Line dances comprise of a set dance steps, danced
repetitively. So once you've learnt the dance, you'll probably dance the same steps over and over 'til the end of the
song, usually facing a new "wall" or direction each time. Check out the Line Dance Extras page.
However, it's not all about cowboys, boots and hats. Nowadays, line dances come in all sorts of dance styles (e.g.
country western, latin american, disco, ballroom) and music genres (from Country to Latin to Pop).
There are new dances being choreographed every day from countries all over the world. The dances we dance
in Malaysia are the same dances being
danced in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and many other countries
around the globe. Now isn't that cool?!
