Just a little background information on me!
My full name is
Rozalynn Zainul Yusoff. Everyone calls me "Lynn" (there are some people who call me "Rozie"). I went to Methodist Primary,
Assunta Secondary, Taylor's College and the University of Southampton.
Dancing -
The Early Years...At the age of 6, I started Ballet at the Federal Academy of Ballet. Later on I also took up Tap and Modern
dancing as well as represented both primary and secondary school in Rhythmic Gymnastics or Gymrama. By the age of 16,
I was at Intermediate for Ballet (ISTD), Senior grade for Tap (ISTD), Elementary for Modern (ISTD).
Dancing -
The Later Years...I had also taken up Latin American and Ballroom by that time, taking my Medal Tests and competing in various Medalist
Festivals, under the tutelage and training of my very own mother, who trained both myself and my brother. By age 21,
I had completed my Gold Ballroom (ISTD) and my Goldstar 2 Latin American (ISTD).
Whilst in England, I was part of the Southampton
University Ballroom Dance Team, representing my uni in various competitions. Back in Malaysia, I competed with my brother
in Latin competitions until work and a back injury resulted in an early "retirement".
